Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Belleville, Illinois.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to catheterization laboratory procedures, including preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Observe and record cardiac rhythms of patients on monitor
  • Run and post rhythm strips at designated intervals
  • Interpret and validate computer readouts
  • Verify lead placement on patients
  • Compare posted strips to previous strips and notify nursing staff of changes
  • Notify nursing staff of any changes in cardiac rhythm
  • Test equipment for proper working order
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees
