We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a 12-week travel assignment in Belleville, Illinois.

Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in the catheterization laboratory. Your duties will include:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate
  • Evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transporting patients as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Technician
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
