Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program and project execution, emphasizing scheduling, cost analysis, feasibility assessments, conflict resolution, and claims evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction oversight, project leadership, engineering design, or related disciplines. A proven history of career advancement and the ability to manage mid-sized teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering assessments, coordination, and supervision of operations, maintenance, repair, and construction initiatives.
  • Supervise activities within trade shops, prioritizing tasks, conducting ongoing project evaluations, and inspecting equipment.
  • Coordinate work orders, service requests, and project assignments.
  • Generate cost estimates, documentation, and reports.
  • Analyze utility expenses and oversee energy management programs.
  • Provide engineering support during emergencies outside of regular hours.
  • Manage design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedules and funding.
  • Assess contractor performance and handle project change requests.
  • Integrate projects with field personnel and deliver project status updates.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and managing acquisitions.
  • Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site assessments.
  • Prepare and track project timelines and budgets, offer technical guidance, assist with contract-related matters, and recommend construction documents for approval.
  • Ensure project goals are achieved within specified timeframes and budget limits.
  • Collaborate with clients on design evaluations.
  • Ensure precise data entry in project management systems.
  • Integrate various systems, including IT, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Complete Contractor Performance Reports upon project completion.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education / Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • 12 years of experience in civil engineering.
    • 5 years of specialized experience in areas such as high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, or construction.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration is preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in physical security, including 3 years in construction security.
    • Experience in implementing classified requirements.
  • Working Environment:
    • U.S. citizenship is required.
    • Operate in a sensitive environment with diverse conditions.
    • Engage in activities under various circumstances.
    • Function in an office setting for a significant portion of time.
    • Work effectively both independently and within team settings.
    • Completion of various assessments and examinations may be necessary.
