We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents in a long-term care setting.

Job Summary

The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident interactions.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • An unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
