Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Summary:

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident interactions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents, identifying their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote resident self-care and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
