Your Role
As the Lead Pharmacist, you will oversee the safe and compliant operations of our pharmacy department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pharmacy staff and ensuring adherence to all regulations and safety protocols.
  • Reviewing and verifying medication prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Providing guidance to pharmacy technicians in daily operations.
  • Educating patients and healthcare professionals about medications, including potential interactions and side effects.
  • Maintaining quality assurance procedures and ensuring the secure handling of controlled substances.
  • Managing pharmacy records and inventory efficiently.
  • Training interns and collaborating with other medical personnel.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training programs.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D) or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree (BS Pharm).
  • An active State Pharmacist License.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
