Job Title: Quality Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering Manager to lead our quality engineering team in delivering high-quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality engineering team in developing and implementing quality plans, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure that all products meet process, system, and contractual quality requirements.
  • Communicate and interface successfully with external and internal customers to discuss quality specifications and actions taken to prevent or correct problems.
  • Oversee and ensure the success of quality engineers who review engineering and manufacturing information on new and revised designs, specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Lead and manage quality engineering teams that effectively perform investigations to determine the root cause for product and process nonconformance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 9 years of Quality Engineering/Management experience or a combination of 13 years of Quality, Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineer/Management experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 9 years or more experience in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings of complex nature.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Green Belt Certification.
  • A working familiarity of AS9100, ISO9001, J-STD Workmanship, ANSI J-Standards (Class 3), and IPC Workmanship Standards (Class 3).
