Job Overview

Shift Times: Weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Position Summary: We are looking for a committed and dependable Laundry Services Specialist to contribute to our operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing laundering equipment and ensuring the hygiene of various items utilized by the hotel and its patrons, including sheets, blankets, and other linens.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Load items into washing machines and add the appropriate amount of detergent or cleaning agents.
  2. Adjust the valve to fill the washer with water.
  3. Initiate the machine that automatically cleans and rinses items.
  4. Transfer clean, wet items from the washer to wringers and dryers for specified time cycles.
  5. Organize dried items based on identification numbers or types.
  6. Fold and store items in designated bins.
  7. Iron all table linens as required.
  8. Maintain machinery by lubricating with grease and oil as necessary.
  9. Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
  10. Proactively greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 months' experience in a hotel setting.

Physical Requirements:
