Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurses Inc. as a Travel CT Technologist.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. This is a 12-week contract opportunity with a 40-hour workweek, with 8-hour shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Monitor patients during the scan and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT scanning procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Current licensure and certification in diagnostic imaging, as required by the state and employer.
