Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, produce high-quality images, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label accordingly
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
Requirements:
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
