About the Program

The Spelman College Graduate Program is a comprehensive, year-long initiative designed to provide participants with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills needed to grow a career in finance.

Program Overview

The program is constructed of multiple rotations across various areas of finance, providing insight into one of finance's many distinct core responsibilities. Each rotation will provide participants with the opportunity to own specific deliverables as part of their team in the first rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the college's financial culture, methods, and systems by collaborating with a broad range of colleagues.
  • Provide accurate financial results and insights through the completion of financial and regulatory reporting, treasury and liquidity reporting, and maintenance of the college's official books and records.
  • Participate in special projects related to finance activities.

Requirements

  • Complete studies (all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2024 and 31st July 2025.
  • Be able to start full-time work in July 2025, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
