Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective management of inbound and outbound freight operations, including shuttle services for customer orders and manufactured goods.
  • Develop and verify daily load plans through systems such as EFMS, Topex, or TMS, ensuring all carrier selections are respected.
  • Ensure timely receipt of daily load tenders by carriers through various communication methods.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling to meet customer delivery standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams (transportation, customer support, operations) and external partners (carriers, client transportation, customer service) to align expectations and directions.
  • Organize carrier pickup schedules and provide daily shipping plans to distribution centers.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance and service quality, adding value for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recognize compliance issues and engage in the feedback process, proposing actionable solutions to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Supervise yard and shuttle service operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in the logistics sector.
