**Surgical Excellence in Trauma Care**
The University of Louisville's Department of Surgery is seeking a skilled trauma surgeon to join our Division of General Surgery at the Assistant Professor level.
The ideal candidate should have completed general surgery training at an ACGME accredited program and be board certified/eligible by the American Board in Surgery, as well as have completed a fellowship in trauma surgery/critical care.
We are committed to providing the best possible care for our patients and are seeking a surgeon who shares our values.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead trauma surgery training programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
- Contribute to research and academic productivity in clinical areas
**Requirements**
- Proven track record of successful completion of a trauma surgery/critical care fellowship program
- Expert skills in teaching and academic productivity
- A genuine interest and commitment to trauma surgery and general surgery training
