Job Overview:
Hannaford Supermarkets seeks an experienced Customer Service Operations Manager to oversee the Front End operations and lead a team of customer service representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year,
depending on location and experience.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front End department, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization. They will also be a collaborative leader who can work effectively with store management, associates, and external partners to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. 1. Develop and implement processes to improve customer satisfaction, sales growth, and operational efficiency.
    2. Supervise and train a team of customer service representatives to ensure excellent service delivery and high standards of professionalism.
    3. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    4. Collaborate with store management to develop and execute business strategies that drive sales growth, customer loyalty, and market share.
    5. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes associate engagement, development, and retention.
    6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and stay ahead of competitors.
    7. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and drive business results.
    8. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support associate growth and development.
    9. Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
    10. Identify and mitigate risks to minimize losses and protect company assets.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles or supervisory positions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
