Williams International is seeking a highly skilled Special Processes Inspector to join our team. As a Special Processes Inspector, you will be responsible for performing first piece, tool proof, receiving and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities- Use manual measuring equipment, programming, and operation of CMM Machines to complete first article inspection
- Participate in inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with the manufacturing standards and specifications
- Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
- Manufacture and/or test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Light programming and/or create program edits for CMM equipment
- Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
- Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years' experience with CMM systems and have familiarity with open DMIS language
- Knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading is required
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches)
- U.S. Citizenship status required
