Environmental Services Technician Position

Ponder Environmental Services, Inc. is currently in search of a Hazardous Materials Specialist to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and additional machinery as required.
  • Manage and utilize pumping systems effectively.
  • Engage in work within confined environments.
  • Oversee the transfer of chemicals safely.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possession of a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or a commitment to obtain it.
  • Knowledge of respiratory safety measures and chemical risks.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License is necessary.
  • Experience in the cleanup of hazardous waste is preferred.
  • Familiarity with personal protective equipment is essential.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
