Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Radiology Specialist, you will execute all standard nuclear imaging procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ordering, preparing, and securely storing radiopharmaceuticals; administering injections as authorized by a physician, and managing radioisotopes when legally permitted.
  • Collaborating with physicians to refine diagnostic imaging protocols.
  • Processing raw data and reviewing imaging studies for accuracy and quality.
  • Conducting decontamination procedures and ensuring the security of all radioactive areas.
  • Participating in on-call duties and adapting to variable shifts as required by departmental needs.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
  • Certification from CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Proficiency in performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with established standards.
