We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Imaging Specialist to help us achieve our objectives.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing patient conditions by operating radiologic equipment to generate radiographs. Before each examination, you will prepare patients for the radiological procedure through proper positioning and imaging techniques, adjusting immobilization devices, positioning equipment, and calibrating equipment controls to set exposure parameters.

  • You will ensure the production and quality of radiographs by adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Document patient care services by maintaining accurate records in patient and departmental files.
  • Review each examination for technical precision and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and various types of patient care.
  • Participate in emergency call rotation to fulfill departmental requirements.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology/ARRT certification and state licensure.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
  • Membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technology is preferred.

Hours: Full-time, evening shift (with rotating weekends).
