About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Prepare sales budgets, action plans, and strategies for assigned projects and customers.
  • Marketing Materials Development: Create and maintain sales and promotional materials to generate new RFQ opportunities.
  • Direct Marketing Activities: Plan and conduct direct marketing activities, negotiate pricing with customers, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain customer relationships at various levels, negotiate contract terms and conditions, and obtain prototype sample information.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Investigate competitors, market conditions, and carry out market research and surveys to inform business decisions.
  • Sales Activity Management: Maintain sales activity records, prepare sales reports for management, and assist internal teams as a sales representative.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field of study.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven work experience in sales, marketing, account management, or a similar field in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; familiarity with automotive makers' development processes and market trends.
  • Location: Located in the Detroit Michigan Metro Area, with the ability to work in the office in Novi, Michigan, and remotely from home.
Preferred Skills
  • Japanese Language Skills: Experience working with or for Japanese Automotive companies.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $101,007 to $134,675. This range does not include other compensation components or benefits. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including qualifications, experience, and location.

This position is eligible for a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, paid medical leave, a 401k plan, vacation time, education assistance, and paid parental leave.
