About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team at our Worthington, IN production facility. As a key member of our semi-autonomous work teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in harvest activities, including preparation, sorting, and drying of crops.
  • Contribute to conditioning activities, such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, and palletizing.
  • Assist with return and rework activities to ensure high-quality products.
  • Support quality analysis and control activities to maintain product integrity.
  • Engage in field management activities, including scouting and field maintenance.
  • Operate forklifts and perform warehousing tasks, including collecting samples and pooling.
  • Gather data for continuous improvement projects to drive process enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of our production facility.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; GED obtainable within 1 year of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse or field environment.
  • Willingness to work shift work, including nights and weekends, during peak season.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
