About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. As an APP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in the outpatient setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with primary hematology/oncology teams and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care across the care continuum.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide complex care coordination and symptom management.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a NCCPA-accredited PA program.
  • Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as an APP in oncology, with solid tumor generalist experience preferred.
  • DEA and MCSR certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
