We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. As an APP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in the outpatient setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with primary hematology/oncology teams and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care across the care continuum.
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide complex care coordination and symptom management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a NCCPA-accredited PA program.
- Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an APP in oncology, with solid tumor generalist experience preferred.
- DEA and MCSR certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
