Job Title: Food Program Area Coordinator

Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Food Program Area Coordinator. This part-time position is responsible for monitoring visits for WECA Food Program participants to ensure compliance with all program policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor WECA CACFP participants in their family childcare homes for compliance with USDA and DPI regulations.
  • Recruit and enroll childcare providers into the WECA CACFP.
  • Disseminate written program compliance materials and forms needed to meet program requirements.
  • Review and instruct providers on forms to be retained by provider for program documentation.
  • Complete required home visit forms, online monitoring, and provide information for the WECA Madison support staff.
  • Provide written nutrition materials and instruct providers on the nutrition education component required annually.
  • Maintain knowledge of CACFP requirements through trainings and conference calls.
Requirements:
  • Living in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Experience in the early childcare industry.
  • Ability to travel.
