Executive Director of Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead our company's efforts in developing and executing a coherent strategy to achieve our goals and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Direct, coordinate, and oversee the joint efforts of the Customer Service, Technical Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless delivery of our value proposition.
- Financial Management: Build and execute a financial plan to reach assigned targets for sales, net profits, and return on assets, monitoring progress and implementing adjustments as needed.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive the overall growth of profit center sales and income by establishing and maintaining a productive sales team, providing them with the necessary resources, knowledge, training, and coaching to execute our sales and customer service processes.
- Analytics and Decision Making: Apply sound analytics and decision-making practices to evaluate and choose suitable investments of company resources and assets, monitoring and safeguarding people, working capital, plant, and equipment.
- Brand and Distribution: Champion and deliver our brand and distribution promise to customers, prospects, and supplier partners locally and nationally, supporting all company-wide business initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with cross-functional teams to support the achievement of local and company goals, collaborating to continually improve processes and practices.
- ISO and Staff Development: Provide leadership in supporting the ISO documentation process and work with Human Resources to develop growth opportunities for staff.
Qualifications:
- Business Development Skills: Strong business development skills, including the ability to configure, negotiate, and close on commercially viable solutions.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and choose suitable investments of company resources and assets.
- Coaching and Talent Development: Coaching and talent development skills to develop and maintain a productive sales team.
- Financial and Business Acumen: Strong financial and business acumen to build and execute a financial plan.
- Interpersonal and Motivational Skills: Strong interpersonal and motivational skills to drive cross-functional efforts and deliver solutions and targeted results.
- Manufacturing and Industrial Distribution: Good understanding of manufacturing and industrial distribution to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Time and Resource Management: Highly effective time and resource management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers, prospects, and supplier partners.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Account Managers and CSR Managers: Direct supervisory responsibility of Account Managers and CSR Managers.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Related Area: Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
- 10 Years of Experience: 10 years of previous experience in a similar position.
- Direct P&L Responsibility: Direct P&L responsibility.
Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use a computer and other equipment.
- Lifting and Moving: Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
PPE Required:
- Eye Protection, Ear Protection, and Steel-Toed Shoes: Eye protection, ear protection, and as required by customer, steel-toed shoes and head protection.
