Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced respiratory procedures, including intubation, pulmonary diagnostics, and bronchoscopy
- Develop and implement respiratory care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
- Provide education and training to respiratory care staff on advanced respiratory procedures and techniques
- Graduate of an approved respiratory care education program
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Texas
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with at least 2 years in a critical care setting
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Adult Critical Care Specialty (RRT-ACCS) certification
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification
