Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Engineer to join our team. As a Video Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and engineering complex audio/video/VTC systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into functional system designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer meetings and conduct site surveys to understand customer requirements.
  • Design and engineer complex audio/video/VTC systems, including audio switching systems, commercial audio, and DSP technology.
  • Provide floor plans and elevations, as well as engineering, programming, and installation labor estimates.
  • Configure and test audio/visual systems.
  • Work with integration and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally with colleagues, project stakeholders, and clients.
  • Understanding of industry best practices in audio, video, and control systems design/integration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assess customer needs, meet quality standards, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with individuals from all levels of the organization.
  • Basic understanding of IP technologies and proficiency in MS Office suite, including Visio and PowerPoint.
  • BA/BS and 4 years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 8 years.
  • Experience with A/V switching systems, commercial audio, and DSP technology.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Ability to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
  • Ability to position self to maintain equipment and cabling, including under desks, while moving floor tiles, and in server closets.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Ability to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
