Overview

Bridge Core is seeking a skilled Video Systems Engineer to join our team in Herndon, VA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise video capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, and develop enterprise video capabilities, including modern enterprise video capabilities architecture.
  • Manage multiple priorities and mitigate issues, providing detailed status updates.
  • Provide technical expertise within video communication networks, including Unified Communication (UC) network systems.
  • Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architectures.
  • Operate Cisco system components, including servers, border elements, communication managers, collaboration provisioning, and VMWare servers.
  • Support Unified Communications (UC) solutions, including voice, video, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Support real-time and on-demand streaming infrastructure, including Poly / Cisco / Skype VTC platforms.
  • Support large-scale video migration efforts, including multi-vendor environments.
Requirements
  • Broad system experience and understanding of supporting elements of modern enterprise video capabilities architecture.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise video capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and mitigate issues.
  • Technical expertise within video communication networks, including Unified Communication (UC) network systems.
  • Experience operating Cisco system components, including servers, border elements, communication managers, collaboration provisioning, and VMWare servers.
  • Experience supporting Unified Communications (UC) solutions, including voice, video, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting real-time and on-demand streaming infrastructure, including Poly / Cisco / Skype VTC platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale video migration efforts, including multi-vendor environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trident V2CDS cross domain solution servers.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS Linux.
  • Firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Video or UC systems such as Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle, AcmePacket, Polycom.
