Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of overhead, revolver, and nuclear cranes
  • Plan and coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades of industrial equipment
  • Document services and write technical reports detailing field work performed
  • Read and interpret electrical control schematics and diagrams
  • Perform extensive testing, problem identification, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and modernizing of industrial cranes
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on installed cranes
  • Evaluate the operating condition of equipment and recommend repairs to customers
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience in environmental/nuclear cranes, material handling, robotics, and other automated applications
  • Strong background in AC, DC, and VFD motor control systems
  • Proficient in electrical system troubleshooting and use of multi-meters, amp probes, and phase detectors
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wire diagrams
  • Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills
