At Sprung Services, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled High-Pressure Boiler Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position for a 2nd Class B Boiler Operator and Maintenance Technician for the 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

We are offering a competitive salary of $37.34 to $40.43 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we are providing a sign-on bonus of $1000 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, and $500 after 1 year.

As a High-Pressure Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Operating and Maintaining High-Pressure Boilers: You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment.
  • Performing Preventative Maintenance: You will perform regular maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
  • Completing Emergency Maintenance: You will be responsible for completing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
  • Performing Repairs and Installations: You will perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: You will be responsible for performing other duties as assigned by supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MN 2nd Class B Boiler License or Higher: You must have a valid MN 2nd Class B Boiler License or higher.
  • Strong Mechanical Skills: You must have strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Well-Rounded Electrical, Mechanical, and Machine Shop Skills: You must have well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills: You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to Work Overtime: You must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
