Construction Site Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Site Coordinator to join our team at Mortenson.
About the RoleThe Construction Site Coordinator will provide administrative support for our on-site construction engineering team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks. This role is located on a construction project site, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Daily Operations: Manage correspondence, incoming calls, and maintain written and electronic records in alignment with Mortenson's guidelines.
- Data Entry: Provide data entry into the Event Management System for Engineering staff, preparing materials for design and construction meetings, capturing meeting minutes, and incorporating processes supporting the project closeout phase.
- Supply Management: Coordinate communications with local suppliers, procure consumables and office supplies, handle deliveries, receive, sort, and record shipments into the computer database, prepare daily outbound shipments, and track equipment inventory.
- Office Setup and Maintenance: Coordinate project office setup, including document control systems, office machines, filing cabinets, space planning, and traffic flow, plan Project Safety Celebrations, and organize/clean the office as needed.
- Craft Workers Administration: Manage new hire documentation, coordinate First Hour Orientations, enter weekly timecards for payroll processing, and work effectively with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous administrative experience on a construction site preferred; minimum one year of administrative experience.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, detail, and multi-tasking skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels and backgrounds.
- Other Requirements: Current valid driver's license, notary public designation helpful, ability to travel up to 100% (if applicable), and basic knowledge of accounting, customer service, payroll, contracts, insurance, and daily reports.

$55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
