As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of buildings, grounds, and equipment, creating a safe and efficient working environment. Your responsibilities will encompass managing vendor contracts, overseeing building assets, and coordinating maintenance and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Additionally, you will be engaged in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure, while supervising a network of vendors and providing direct support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of roofing systems.
- Perform fixture replacements, plumbing repairs, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Assess buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors to achieve optimal results.
- Prepare facilities for adverse weather conditions.
- Support and implement facility security protocols.
- Generate reports related to maintenance, safety, and security.
- Identify and propose strategies for Continuous Improvement.
- Engage professionally with vendors, team members, and management.
- Travel to various locations as necessary.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Proficient in Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Preferred experience in managing personnel.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and climb ladders.
Salary Range: $58,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, profit-sharing opportunities, paid time off, and additional perks.
