Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC and piping systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, and calibrating equipment.
  • Monitor and record system performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation.
  • Comply with safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless facility operations.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial building maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • EPA 608 Type II Certification.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.
  • Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
