Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, Washington.

About the Job:
  • Salary: $38,868 - $50,328 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Location: Pierce County - Orting, WA
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent position with regular working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday through Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
  • Identify and report material maintenance issues to management.
  • Assist in the coordination of schedules and provide support to custodial staff as needed.
  • Recommend purchase of equipment and supplies to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general, or building maintenance/custodial work.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver's license and one (1) year of experience as a lead custodian.
