Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Substitute Custodian. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities:- Maintain the overall cleanliness of buildings and campuses.
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, and mop floors and/or carpets as needed.
- Clean restrooms, furniture, walls, and fixtures as required.
- Sanitize high-touch areas, including drinking fountains, sinks, toilets, and urinals.
- Clean door glass and windows as needed.
- Apply floor seals and finishes as necessary.
- Replace burned-out lights when needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure a comfortable work environment by controlling temperature, ventilation, and building safety.
- Provide night security for assigned facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor or Building Administrator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A combination of education, experience, and training that indicates ability to perform essential job functions.
- A valid Washington State driver's license or reliable transportation.
$23.54-$26.68 per hour, depending on position worked.
