Job Summary

The Sales Associate is a key member of our retail team, providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for building genuine connections with our customers, providing personalized service, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers promptly and genuinely, and re-engaging appropriately
  • Build customer loyalty by creating genuine connections with customers and providing personalized service
  • Conduct company-sponsored outreach to acquire new customers and increase shopping visits
  • Provide product expertise and advanced selling skills to customers
  • Maintain excellent visual standards and assist with floor set execution and ongoing re-merchandising of the store
  • Contribute to operational excellence by participating in all operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization

Qualifications
  • Previous work experience in a retail environment, with a preference for women's specialty retail experience
  • Point of sale system and technical experience
  • Connections within the community preferred
  • Passionate about fashion and the J. Jill brand, with a desire to continually engage and learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven sales and customer service skills
  • Strong style, merchandising, and wardrobing skills
