Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare unoccupied apartments for leasing in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist maintenance staff with general repairs, including appliances, carpets, minor air conditioning, and plumbing tasks.
  • Engage in carpentry, painting, and drywall work as needed.
  • Install appliances and fixtures as required.
  • Handle lock installations, repairs, and rekeying.
  • Move and set up appliances.
  • Complete service requests promptly, typically within 24 hours.
  • Contribute to ongoing property enhancements and preventive maintenance efforts.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in multi-family property maintenance is required.
  • Successful completion of credit checks, background checks, and drug screenings is necessary.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance practices, preparation procedures, pool upkeep, and overall property care is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and common household appliances.
  • Must be in good physical condition and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language is essential.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance are required.
