Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Deering Lumber. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and supporting our outside sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information, quotes, and support.
  • Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and build relationships.
  • Process customer orders, credit returns, and other transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate the purchase and delivery of special products, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Manage schedules and coordinate with outside sales, jobsites, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Research and resolve customer complaints, credits, and late payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the building materials industry, with a strong understanding of products and applications.
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred.
