About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Compassionate Care Specialist to join our community at Sinceri Senior Living. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing consistent and quality care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
  • Engage residents in meaningful conversations, socialization, and activities while providing personal care assistance.
  • Respond promptly to all resident needs and/or requests for care, and provide or obtain assistance as necessary.
  • Support residents during meal times in the dining room.
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings, and assist with those activities as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the community, including straightening resident beds, emptying resident garbage, and tidying resident rooms daily and as needed.
  • Assist with resident laundry according to shift guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff members is essential.
  • The capacity to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation is required.
  • The ability to pass necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.

Estimated Salary: $42,500 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
