Strategic Facilities Planner

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Facilities Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Campus Planning group, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our site, facility, and infrastructure strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to address capability gaps and ensure the integration of maintenance, operation, and planning of facilities and infrastructure.
- Facility Development: Provide direction for the addition or removal of facilities and infrastructure to optimize current and future facility investments.
- Policy Compliance: Formulate, recommend, and ensure compliance with approved standards and policies.
- Project Management: Lead teams or projects with moderate risk and complexity, influencing successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaboration: Interface with all research and support organizations within PNNL, and engage senior level staff and management to manage and maintain processes.
- Communication: Skilled at building positive relationships and influence to get results, and able to foster creative solutions to complicated facility and infrastructure needs.
- Risk Management: Able to consider risks and ensure compliance with procedures and policies, and responsible for maintaining and updating procedures related to this position.
- Education: BS/BA and 7+ years of relevant work experience, or MS/MA and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Experience analyzing facility related data to make informed strategic decisions, and understanding of facility systems and infrastructure.
- US Citizenship: Due to business needs and client space, US Citizenship is required.
- Security Clearance: Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is subject to the Department of Energy Unclassified Foreign National Access Program site, information, technologies, and equipment access requirements.
