Family Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Master's Level Family Therapist to join our team at Children and Families First Delaware Inc. As a Family Therapist, you will provide intensive, evidence-based therapy to families with children aged five to adolescents in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct family therapy sessions in the home and community settings, with minimal sessions in the office.
  • Develop and implement individual and group therapy plans tailored to each family's needs.
  • Collaborate with families to identify and address challenges, promoting healthy relationships and coping mechanisms.
  • Provide training and support to families in evidence-based treatment models, such as Functional Family Therapy.
  • Work closely with families in New Castle County, Delaware, and adapt to their schedules, including afternoons and evenings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • License eligibility (LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT) is required, with current clinical licensure desired.
  • Comfort with home visits and experience with home visiting are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends, is necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
