Job Description

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of in-home and in-community services that promote the healthy development of children, adults, and families.

We are seeking a Part-time Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to professionals providing direct care services.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in a related position, with 3 years of post-graduate experience working directly with emotionally disturbed children and adults, intellectually disabled children and adults, and their families, plus 1 year of post-graduate supervisory experience in an agency providing services to children.

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management, communications, presentation, recruitment, sales, and strategic thinking and organization skills. They will also be proficient in personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

The Clinical Therapist will work under general supervision and have the ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently. They will demonstrate responsible behavior and attention to detail, aligning their behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of the organization.

The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for supervising providers who serve individuals on a week-to-week basis, signing off on necessary Progress notes, Treatment Plans, and Re-authorization when necessary, participating in training and ongoing technical assistance responsibilities for providers, maintaining a system of clinical record keeping utilizing KFS documentation, and assuming responsibility for a monitoring system that includes periodic case reviews.

The Clinical Therapist will also be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of processes needed to improve service delivery to clients, following state-regulated supervisory standards, participating in prioritization, overview, and other related meetings as needed by the company or client, and reviewing and comprehending all regulations set forth by the client to ensure compliance (HIPAA, record keeping, etc.).

The Clinical Therapist will maintain a standard of excellence in all aspects of internal and external customer service, provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill, encourage/facilitate cooperation, pride, and trust, and foster commitment and team spirit.

The Clinical Therapist will be accountable for their performance, which will be measured by their ability to bring people together for the benefit of the client and company as it relates to the service process, promote the employee's interests while guarding the corporate values of sense of urgency, teamwork, and profits to create a better working environment, and complete necessary supervision in a timely manner according to state regulations.
