HGR Industrial is seeking a Midwest Class A CDL Transport Specialist to become an integral part of our Decommissioning Team.

As a leader in the resale of pre-owned industrial machinery since 1998, HGR is expanding and looking to enhance our workforce.

This role involves traveling to various job sites across the Midwest and Eastern United States.

To excel in this position, you will be expected to function effectively as both a driver and a rigger. Adherence to all DOT and HGR Safety Protocols in securing and transporting loads back to the facility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload equipment and machinery, ensuring proper tie-down and weight distribution.
  • Ensure transportation and delivery of equipment complies with safety regulations set by DOT and HGR.
  • Complete scheduled operations in accordance with DOT laws and maintain all electronic logs as required.
  • Assist the decommissioning team with rigging tasks as necessary.
  • Be prepared for overnight travel 3-4 days a week (sleeper truck provided).
  • Communicate effectively with various departments within the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience with Landoll or Low-boy trailers.
  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Must successfully pass federal drug testing and random screenings.
  • No major moving violations in the past 36 months; no DUI or drug-related convictions in the last 5 years, and no more than one in a lifetime.
  • Rigging experience is essential.
