Job Title: Senior Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to model radar performance for an Active RF Space program using MATLAB. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radar signal processing and experience with modeling and simulation of radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model radar performance using MATLAB
  • Analyze data from integration, test, and calibration of payload flight hardware
  • Verify and validate simulation performance against test data
  • Develop and document algorithms and models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test radar systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 8 years of related experience
  • Experience with modeling RADAR processing in MATLAB
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
  • Experience with radar signal processing
  • Experience integrating and testing of modes/algorithms on RADAR systems
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, C/C++, and Python

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $127,000.00 - $190,600.00, as well as a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
