Job Summary:

The Customer Quality Engineer II will be responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and serving as the quality liaison through frequent customer contact. This role will work under moderate to low-level supervision and seek direction/guidance on unique or difficult problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the customer advocate within Woodward processes and systems
  • Monitor and track customer quality data
  • Drive root cause analysis and problem-solving utilizing Six Sigma methodology and Woodward Quality Management System processes
  • Ensure adequacy of documents and interfaces with customer for required validation documentation
  • Lead and follow up on internal and external quality audits as required

Requirements:

  • 2-year associate degree in a technical field
  • 2-5 years of quality engineering experience with a 2-year associate degree
  • Green Belt or Black Belt trained
  • Demonstrates the ability to regularly utilize Six Sigma principles, tools, and methodology
