Job Description
As an Advanced Health Care Specialist, you will work closely with patients to understand their medical needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will encompass a range of responsibilities, including:
- Recording and updating patient medical histories
- Documenting symptoms and collecting samples
- Ordering lab tests and diagnostic procedures
- Performing detailed examinations and creating treatment plans
- Coordinating with other medical professionals and specialists
- Prescribing medications and performing small medical procedures
- Managing other nurses and monitoring patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Advanced education in nursing or a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or specialty role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)
