Dietary Care Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dietary Care Specialist to join our Food and Nutrition Services team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Screen patients for nutritional risk using data from medical records and patient interviews
Prepare and deliver infant feedings, adhering to all sanitary regulations and standards
Inventory and maintain sufficient infant feeding room supplies
Record calorie counts as directed by registered dietitians
Calculate dietary meal patterns, such as diabetic, sodium, and protein-based diets
Complete diet instructions with patients and/or families
Assess patient weight histories and perform interventions as needed
Requirements
Associate's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with computer systems and software
