Job Title: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist

Master Center for Addiction Medicine is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in their recovery journey. Your experience and personal recovery story will enable you to connect with patients on a deeper level, providing them with the guidance and support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct coaching interviews with patients to assess their recovery needs and goals
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans for patients
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients throughout their recovery journey
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Completed 72-hour PRS training required by DBHDS
  • 2 years or more of personal sustained recovery
  • Per DBHDS requirements, candidates must not have committed any barrier crimes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred
  • Strong leadership and training skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
