Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering sandwiches to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and delivering products in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics and Route Management: Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Order Management: Take telephone orders, complete delivery tickets, and process payments from customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with management and other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a delivery or customer service role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Work Environment: The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to mechanical parts.
