Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the NICU, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
- STABLE certification within 12 months of hire.
