KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Electrical Consultant will possess the expertise necessary to install, diagnose, and maintain various plant and field instrumentation and equipment. This encompasses, but is not limited to, transmitters, valves, switches, sensors, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, lighting systems, transformers, and more. This position entails overseeing, scheduling, and assisting contractor teams while ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. A thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is essential.

A valid North Dakota Journeyman license is mandatory.

  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.
  • Proficient in interpreting and executing loop diagrams and P&IDs to install, maintain, and troubleshoot heaters, motors, heat trace systems, and other equipment in a production facility setting.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying job details and status updates on-site, as well as through phone, email, and data entry.
  • Capability to coordinate and collaborate with personnel from other contracting firms, trades, and departments to achieve shared objectives.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities managed on a rotational basis. Readiness to address after-hours issues is required when scheduled for on-call duty.
