Primary Care Physician Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team at our clinic in Decatur. As a key member of our team, you will focus on delivering high-quality patient care and achieving patient health goals through a collaborative patient-provider partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Document patient care in medical records
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
- Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
Requirements:
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body
- Experience managing a patient panel and running independent clinic
